Do I love it Yes! I show it to everyone. The sliding shelf is a genius design. Did assembling this take a small toll on my mental state Yes… it took forever. I initially attached the some of the parts the wrong way, which i didn’t know until it came to a point where i had to disassemble and redo. I also ended up putting the shelves in upside down. Easy build, but could be confusing if you aren't paying attention to instructions. Because it can be positioned in either direction, they have not pre-drilled all of the holes. I'm not sure why they were concerned about them showing because they don't attempt to hide any other screw on the table. This is my main issue with the table. It is well built and sturdy and has a lot of storage. But I removed a star because of the vast number of stickers required to hide screw heads. Usually furniture makers will at least attempt to put screws in inconspicuous spaces. This table has all of them very obvious without the stickers. But in my opinion, the vast amount of stickers make the table look cheap. I only removed one star, as many people won't mind. But it made me regret buying the table. I love that you can charge the vanity lights so it does not require full time outlet access. I did add 2 inch wooden risers under the legs. Beautiful vanity!!! 2 NEGATIVES: 1. the lights on the mirror aren’t very strong. Luckily where I moved it to has great natural light. 2. There are two cords for this vanity. One for the actual vanity and one for the mirror. I don’t feel like the photos accurately showed how the cord to the mirror looked. It is very visible and I feel like it should have had a slot to put the cord through the vanity. Maybe they did this so if you don’t want to use the mirror you could convert it to a desk or something but I had to wrap the cord for it to look better and prevent my cat from chewing. I didn’t lower my rating because this is One of my favorite purchases I’ve ever made. It really elevates the room. I love putting on my makeup at it. It’s a cute vanity and seems well constructed although it did have a very strong chemical smell in the glass cabinet section once it was put together. I paid for the assembly which was a great experience and well worth the extra cost. The Wayfair assembly tech communicated by text before and after the appt, was prompt and had the piece together in 1 hour. I’m certain it would’ve taken me or my husband much, much longer so the time and stress it saved was a win. After the piece was completed, it looked fine, cute actually for my teen’s room but seeing and experiencing the actual functionality was a bit of a let down. The desk portion that sits on topoverlaps on the cabinet portion and isn’t secured in any way so it’s easily moved - whether you want to move it or not. Also the desk portion that overlaps is higher than the cabinet portion which seems obvious now but I somehow didn’t realize that when looking at pictures. Having a surface that’s just slightly different levels is fairly small to begin with is just not ideal for me. Overall it’s fine.
