I’ll be honest—when I first opened the box, I was a little concerned about the quality. It’s a heavy package with a ton of pieces, and at first glance it felt a bit overwhelming (and maybe a little sketchy ). But once we rolled up our sleeves and followed the directions, it all came together really well. And by “we,” I mean two of us—because at this stage of life, there was no way one person was tackling that solo! Getting up and down off the floor a hundred times isn’t quite as graceful in our late 50s60s, so it probably could’ve been done faster by someone younger or more flexible . In the end, though, it was worth it. The vanity is sturdy, the drawers open and close smoothly, and all the cabinets line up nicely. Plan on about 8 hours for assembly and definitely follow the instructions closely—but for the price point, I’m honestly thrilled with this purchase. Overall, it gets the job done, but there are a few features that seem ill-conceived. For example, the power outlet is on top of the desktop. This means if you plug something in, you'll have the cords just cluttering up your desktop. The lights are also stuck directly to the mirror, which you have to manually do with no markings of where to put each bulb so they are symmetrical, and the wires sit on top of the mirror.
