I took the picture today...after several years of ownership. My son and I installed it--really simple, just a few hours of work. It's been through the worst winters, nasty windstorms and still looks perfect. As I recall, there was a small shipping-damage problem (not the manufacturer's issue) with one of the pieces... but they fixed it immediately by sending a replacement part. Many neighbors and family members have commented on the distinctive appearance of this post. The mitre joints were not perfect so it was difficult to assemble. It didn’t come with instructions, so I almost put the Top molding on the bottom and vice versa, not realizing they were different widths which would have looked terrible. I used glue rather than screws, which was a mistake. Again, good instructions would have prevented both of these. This was a DIY project, so it is on me. , if I paid for the work to be done professionally it wouldn’t be acceptable. Part of that is me, plenty of it is on the product and manufacturer.. William.
