Product was as advertised. I would recommend based on appearance and quality feel of the product, i.e. rigid plank, good backing, and surface feel. These reviews helped me and I have a similar complaint within the shipping quality and associated product damage. It seemed to me my planks were damaged in packaging as the boxes themselves were not too bad when they arrived. I’d say 50% (8/16) planks has some kind of damage most of which was damage to the tongues as shown in pictures. Probably two corners were such that I could not use those corners. I chose to install at a diagonal so I had a decent amount of waste or left over so the damage issue didn’t affect me. Do consider this when purchasing. Overall the final product is nice. We haven't laid this new flooring yet, but I am pleased with the color we chose and with the overall look of the planks. I hope they will be easy to lay and was pleased that they are for cement and bathrooms which is where we will be laying them. My reason for only 4 stars is because when I opened the packages I found some of the planks had small chips off of a corner here and there as well as a few had bigger chunks off of the edges. I realize these were shipped and arrived during excessive winter low temps in Iowa and that isn't the seller's fault necessarily. Perhaps packing needs to be done differently in situations like this. FOLLOW UP REVIEW: We now have the flooring laid and it looks fabulous! Our contractor felt that it went together well but he does have experience. Everything they claim plus more!I was looking for the best underlayment product money can buy and found this product. It had been recommended by a friend that used it and a professional installer also insisted upon it. I also took the time to read the reviews and I called the factory for additional information. I had a previous 1000 square foot carpeted cement floor and the carpet needed replacement. we liked the look of vinyl but knew we would need a good underlayment. ECF is that product and more. Waterproof with a vapor barrier, cushioning effect but not spongy. The easiest product to ever put down. Lays flat. a unique way of attaching to each other making for a perfect fit and easy to cut and shape where shaping is needed. It seems a bit pricey but consider the long term use it provides it is really not meaningful. Having the best underlayment is the most important consideration when putting down any flooring. The product itself is great, the boards have a strong connect once snapped together, and the finished product is gorgeous. The issue is that both of my orders arrived damaged.
