Our shiplap kits are available in a custom-milled pattern, giving you the look of traditional shiplap with a perfect 1/8 inch gap in between each board to give you the desired nickel gap effect. Nickel gap wainscoting offers a clean-line, modern take on shiplap with an interlocking tongue and groove profile so they don’t overlap at all. The tongue fits in the groove, once installed on a surface, the boards have a gap between them, so you don’t get warping that causes shiplap boards to look crooked or uneven. Our shiplap kits are premium paint-ready cellular PVC products.

The product is beautiful and will work in my bathroom application. The one regret that I have is the fact that it is not really bead board. It could not be verified when looking at the low resolution photos on line, but there is no bead and is just flat with a routed out space to make it look something like bead board. These are nice panels I am using them for cupboards will post pics when my project is complete. The surface that a few were complaining about wasnt at all an issue for me since I am painting them and coating them after with clear so it all looks smooth and like a cabinet door would.
