Overall an amazing desk for small spaces. It is super sturdy - you would never know it's a folding desk (doesn't move at all when typing, etc.). Very easily to install including a mounting template. This table looked very cute and has a super vintage design. It is on casters so it is such a good choice for small homes or apartments. This table was very intimidating to put together. And I nearly broke on step 8 where there are several hinges that need to be put on in a very tight space. This step should be completed before step 7. Where the top of the table is put on. But regardless ot was impossible to complete. The tablr also did noy come with the folding chairs despite being pictured with them. It is my understanding that butterfly tables usually cone with the chairs that fold up into the storage compartment. So this should be more clear. Chairs are sold separately. This drop-leaf table is a great helper especially in a narrow room, just loose the hinges to lay down one board when you do not have many items to put on it, or fold down the two boards when not needed. This table was relatively easy to put together. I did give it 5 stars because it is very sturdy, however it did come with some scratches on the surface. The directions were very easy to read. CONS -Everything is unlabeled (except for 5 boards with market) -All tools hardware are mixed together -One single page of random photos are the “instructions” -No guide points for where to put the desk hingesholds -Ugly hardware -The door on the upper shelf is too small and does not match up with the edges -Every piece on the dark wood has light edges -Too much of a hassle to take apart to return -NOT worth the price PROS -No wooden dowels -Works I guess but won’t be pretty, even for 170 which is crazy work Wayfair Overall do not get this, I’m being generous with 2 stars. This thing is worth 30 max, I feel like I should be paid for figuring out the build. I thought it was going to be revealed that I was on a game show where they reward people for figuring out how to build crummy furniture. If I hadn’t just moved and already built 10 other things I would’ve been lost. Also most things now provide stickers to cover ugly hardware and help it blend better, this could’ve benefitted from the addition.
