It was easy to assemble with 2 people. You almost need 2 people once is starts to be mostly together. That pressed wood can be heavy. It has that cheap backing but it all fit together well. We were able to adjust the doors so they closed nicely and then to get the seam between the doors to be small and straight. It took almost 2 hours. It’s nice! More for a kids room short like others mentioned. The photo with the side table is misleading as I thought both pieces were together. I had to order a side table hoping the color matches.
