The instructions were excellent, it took me about 4 hours to put it together because I go slowly and carefully and of course only used a screwdriver. The drawers in the middle don't glide very well. The middle one at the bottom needs to be pushed back hard to close which is weird because everything was assembled meticulously. I might stick some silicone bumper pads there for the noise. Nailing the backing was a little useless since it didn’t want to attach to the frame (it kind of balloons out just a bit, which doesn’t affect anything I believe, the dresser is against the wall). The drawers are small so in the future I will buy a dresser with bigger drawers, maybe a 6-drawer dresser. Put this together by myself with just a traditional phillips head screwdriver so it took about 3 hours. Be very careful between step 4 and 5 of setup when rotating the pieces. With how heavy Pieces 2, 3, 4 are and being connected with just part 5. It is very prone to splitting around the connction site if you are not careful. I do suggest for this step having another person to help you move it. However if it splits a bit it is not the end of the world because step 10 reinforces all these connections and helps to strengthen and bring back together those spots!! Once all put together it’s plenty strong large enough. I did buy two of these as his hers dressers for my husband and i.
