It doesn't require any assembly, just add the bracket to stand it up. It's a nice nickel color and a compact size to fit in a small space. ONE WORD PEOPLE: "CONTEXT" This towel warmer/heater does its job! It heats up quickly and warms the towels just like I would expect it to do and what I purchased it to do especially at this price point! Does an excellent job! We read so many reviews before buying this one - I cannot remember what other reviews said on this specific product as I write this just that in general there was so much complaining that they dont heat fast enough, they dont heat through my towel hot enough, they dont provide enough heat in the room (oh, and p.s we live in BELOW ZERO weather climate conditions AND this is the only heat source in the bathroom...) ... on and on and on! A nice compact plug in towel warmer - a little narrower than our bath sheet size towels, but just the right length. At the hottest setting for 15 minutes the spots where the towel touched the bars directly were noticeably warm, but I couldn’t tell a difference between room temperature on the spots that pulled off a bit. I like that even at the hottest setting, the metal wasn’t too hot to touch.
