The swing can't function with the bottom line on...but the cargo net is a struggle if it doesn't have the bottom line. If you look closely, the kiddo swinging has to somehow climb up onto the swing, then the swing has to be high enough that they can clear the bottom line when "pumping". We have decided to leave the bottom line off so the swing can function and we hung large stones from the cargo net to keep it somewhat secure. The QUALITY is amazing. Just gotta get around the function of the pieces included... Also, not ideal for the kids pictured. It serves an older kid better. My wayfair peeps..THIS!!! What a great, great play-set! We have been searching for months and months for the perfect play-set and hit the jackpot with this one! We hit the Memorial Day sale and used a coupon and got a much better deal on this. So keep your eyes on sales! Okay-this item came in two LARGE rectangle boxes. Instead of moving the boxes into our backyard (boxes were placed by our garage-but note -you can call delivery company and request where you want them to place items) we just opened them where they we and organized all the parts. After that, we began with the instructions, ladder, side supports etc. There were some tricky parts for us but that may not be the case for everyone, especially if you’re an engineer! Ha, just kidding. I learned how to use a drill this weekend so ladies, you got this! There’s a lot of screws and moving parts but don’t let this scare you-the instruction booklet is SO GOOD! I highly recommend this playset y’all! Wayfair never disappoints! Tip-don’t be afraid to mix and match your rock wall colors, makes it kinda fun! Also, we purchased a baby swing since my youngest is two..so it comes with two swings and a handle bar (yellow in picture) . But the baby swing is sold separately.
