This is the throw that makes dreams come true. I adopted an adorable 14 yr old Shih Tzu who is almost totally blind and deaf. The hardest part is she also has a problem controlling her kidneys. You can not imagine the late night problems that come with that. I was looking at waterproof throws and came across this one. The things it was supposed to do seemed a little far fetched but the price was right and I was desperate. I got the gray one with puppy feet. It is really cute and excellent quality, but that’s not as important as the part where I don’t get to her fast and I have a large wet puddle in the middle of the bed. Normally I would have to change sheets and wash the blanket. Thank goodness no more. Now I simply get the water up, then clean it a little bit only because I I want to. These throws are terrific. They are lightweight, but boy do they keep you warm in the winter. You can keep the heat lower to save on electricity, and you can still stay warm at the same time. They also wash very well, and they keep their consistency. I only had pilling on the initial wash.
