Finxin ceiling fan Delivery was on time. Box was somewhat beat up. But everything was ok. After removing all the parts. I realize this is a beautiful fan. The colors are rich and the fan was the look I was aiming for in my new home. The bronze matched the color package for our home so this is the color we decided on. The fan is well made and does not wobble or make any noise when turned up to the highest setting. I have installed ceiling fans in the past so I didn’t read every word of the instructions. I just skimmed over the important items and began assembling the fan. This fan is being installed on an 11 foot trey ceiling so I had to purchase a 12 extension rod so the fan hung a little lower than the standard installation bar. The wiring included with the fan was plenty long enough to accommodate the extension rod. This fan is very sleek and will go well with just about any decor. I like the fact that it has non integrated dimmable light bulbs which are included! Smart features are clever and work well with the recommended apps. The remote is convenient, not very well made and other than smart devices, it is the only way to control the functions on the fan out of the box which is why I gave it 4 stars. This could be a techies dream but someone else’s nightmare! This fan DOES NOT work with 3rd party ceiling fan wall controls such as Lutron! There is a wall control switch by Hunter that is said to be compatible but requires batteries and paring with the built in transmitter in the smart fan and it retails for about 60. My husband connected it to a single wall switch that is all or nothing( fan and light on with settings previously set on remote) so I can at least turn on the light when I enter the dark room. We use the app and remote to control the functions. If you just want a nice looking fan that doesn’t require a techie to set up this is not the fan for you but if you are into smart features and are a techie, you’ll love it!. Dionne.
