I couldn't be happier with this dresser and the entire set for that matter. I mentioned in another review that I was leery of white furniture. I have always like darker wood but recently I have been drawn to white and gray so I decided to do gray walls with white furniture. I truly love the look. It is feminine (but not too girly) and has a vintage but modern feel (Don't ask me how that works). I was even more leery of the gold accents but again I love them. It is not a polished gold but rather a brushed (more dull) bronze. The quality is great and I only found two very minor flaws in the entire set (one is inside the drawer and the other is at the bottom of one of the drawers on the dresser). I think a lot of that comes from who's handling the furniture while putting it together. If you aren't careful you can scratch, ding, dent etc. just removing the pieces. Love these. Bought two and purchased marble from Crate and Barrel that is intended to be a pastry cutting board to make the tops look more fancy. The size of the cutting board was perfect. Looks great, sturdy. Shelves should support weight from the clothing etc that you put into it. Design flaw. Either pilot holes need to be drilled deeper or the supplied screws are too long. Very nice desk! Well made. A few flaws: 1) the lip under the desk where your chair goes causes the clearance under the desk to be very low, more than normal. I ended up having to buy a new chair bc I couldn’t slide mine under this desk, and I can’t cross or fold my legs which is annoying. I thought maybe this was just decorative and I could just leave it off, but it turns out this is what’s holding the legs in. 2) the drawers on the right are swallow for no reason. There is plenty of space behind them yet they are short. 3) the “brass” is like a fake brown paint, not at all a nice brass. The handles feel cheap. I might have to spray the legs and replace the hardware. Pros: 1) the lift is very well made, stays up while leaning on it. 2) really great size and storage.
