Love these. Bought two and purchased marble from Crate and Barrel that is intended to be a pastry cutting board to make the tops look more fancy. The size of the cutting board was perfect. I couldn't be happier with this dresser and the entire set for that matter. I mentioned in another review that I was leery of white furniture. I have always like darker wood but recently I have been drawn to white and gray so I decided to do gray walls with white furniture. I truly love the look. It is feminine (but not too girly) and has a vintage but modern feel (Don't ask me how that works). I was even more leery of the gold accents but again I love them. It is not a polished gold but rather a brushed (more dull) bronze. The quality is great and I only found two very minor flaws in the entire set (one is inside the drawer and the other is at the bottom of one of the drawers on the dresser). I think a lot of that comes from who's handling the furniture while putting it together. If you aren't careful you can scratch, ding, dent etc. just removing the pieces. Looks great, sturdy. Shelves should support weight from the clothing etc that you put into it. Design flaw. Either pilot holes need to be drilled deeper or the supplied screws are too long. Placed an order on this nightstand 4/24 and received it on 4/29. I guess delivery was pretty good as I've been months without a nightstand so was pretty excited to finally have one. Upon opening and taking out the pieces, started noticing damages right away. Was hoping for minor flaws but there was literally damages to almost every single piece(refer to photos). Of course I wasn't thrilled but I guess you get what you pay for but still for $260 I expected for a damage free product even if the quality wasn't there. And the thought of returning it after opening and inspecting each piece, I just didn't want to bother with the process as I know it will be a headache. So I just decided to keep it and deal with it. Nonetheless, I put it together (as shown in the photo). The measurement of the nightstand was perfect and the two-drawer was great but Wayfair really need to do better with delivering damage-free products. I get it, it is a discounted site but if you don't want to deliver quality material furniture at least have the items deliver to customers damage-free. Overall it is okay, and it is what it is. Its functional I will say that but this will be my first and last time ordering furniture on this site. Very nice desk! Well made. A few flaws: 1) the lip under the desk where your chair goes causes the clearance under the desk to be very low, more than normal. I ended up having to buy a new chair bc I couldn’t slide mine under this desk, and I can’t cross or fold my legs which is annoying. I thought maybe this was just decorative and I could just leave it off, but it turns out this is what’s holding the legs in. 2) the drawers on the right are swallow for no reason. There is plenty of space behind them yet they are short. 3) the “brass” is like a fake brown paint, not at all a nice brass. The handles feel cheap. I might have to spray the legs and replace the hardware. Pros: 1) the lift is very well made, stays up while leaning on it. 2) really great size and storage. This is not a 2-drawer nightstand. It only has 1 drawer that is 8" deep, not 2 drawers that are each 5" deep as described. It is good quality, very sturdy, and looks great, but it's not what I wanted. I paid more for these because I wanted 2 drawers, instead of buying a similar 1-drawer nightstand also sold by Wayfair that's less expensive. I'm keeping them because they look nice and it's not worth going through the return process, but I'm very disappointed. Buyer be warned - the description is not accurate.. Katherine.
