Worked with Wayfair and the supplier when two side rails of the same type were sent. The storage units roll freely, unattached to the bed itself and can go deep under the bed if pushed too far. This has been a solid bed (purchased in white) with 2 great storage drawers that are deep and fit quite a bit inside. Platform allows room for storage bins on other side. This bed has lasted 7 years and is still in good condition. We would continue to use, however ready for a more grown up bed/size for our child. I do love the bed. One suggestion: I tried to get the shipping date changed before I even placed the order. You cannot change it online.
