Surprisingly solid for the price but I'm knocking off 1 star b/c the mfg skimped on arguably the most critical element of design - reliable support! The metal slats are a tad wanting. Perfect for older kids, tweens & teens. Took me 2 hrs to assemble alone BUT I'm neither handy nor young. I'm fairly certain the right person w/ help could do it in 25 mins. Looks nice. Bought this bed for my wifes 3 year old grandson. Directions were very clear and all parts fit together perfectly. I put this together by myself in a little over an hours time. I was surprised how well everything was made and how sturdy it is. You can set the main portion of the bed to 3 different height settings while putting it together to fit bigger mattresses. This bed has worked well and has proven to be made well. The roll out bed fits perfectly underneath and we were able to use 8 inch mattresses on it. Would definitely buy it again.. Christopher. I'm very pleased with this white daybed. I'm a 68 yo woman and it took less than 2 hours to put together. Not many problems except sometimes the screws didn't line up and it took a lot of fiddling to get them in. It is very sturdy and doesn't rattle or make noise. It's pretty heavy compared to others.
