These would make a genuinely awful standalone piece of furniture. They're ugly, very small, and don't have any firm exterior sides. Fortunately I didn't want them to stand alone. I have a tall cabinet that I want to use as a dresser, and these fit in the cabinet shelves perfectly. As a means of inserting drawers into spaces that don't have them, these are great. They are slightly taller and narrower than the posted product dimensions, so I had to leave the wooden top off in order to get them to fit. (I should have had 1/4" of clearance.) Fortunately, the top is not serving any structural function on these, so that doesn't impact their stability. I do really wish I had other options for configuring the drawers (The wider drawers are more useful to me) and that there were other color options, but I've scoured Wayfair and several stores looking for something that would work and this is far and away the best thing out there. Easy to assemble and exactly as described. As we were installing the handles onto the drawers, I noticed that if the handles are pulled hard enough, they may eventually rip the material of the drawers. Only time will tell. These are some sturdy little drawers! To start, the assembly.. couldn’t be easier- you unfold the sides, pop in the wheels, and place the floor right inside. The bottom sits on several hook ledges- keeping it nice and sturdy. Took less than two minutes. They are metal, which is definitely an upgrade from the fabric underbed storage systems that I am currently using, as these will definitely keep their shape. A little bonus is the locking wheels, which will come in handy if you want them to stay in place under the bed. My only con to these is that I expected them to be a bit deeper. In the posted picture you can see that one small, children’s hoodie goes right to the top. I was hoping to fit more pieces.
