It’s very impressive when it comes to appearance and quality of materials used. I love the red knobs! However, I haven’t seen superior performance in comparison to other toaster products in the 300 range. In addition to that, I purchased it not that long ago (about 1 1/2 to 2 months ago)and the beeping sound that alerts me when the toaster has reached the desired temperature has stopped working. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was part of the appliance package for our new home and while it looks very nice and does a great job cooking there are a couple of significant issues that have arisen. 1. The temperature probe feels the need to tell you how to set it. What I mean is that you can't set the probe for a temperature lower than the manufacturer believes is acceptable. The minimum temperature for beef is 145 (or 140 can't remember) which is way too high. And I find it offensive (and unnecessarily complicated in design) that it doesn't just let me set the temperature that I want. 2. The control panel is really badly designed. (Now ours might be broken - which is another issue with this appliance; we can't get the replacement parts - they say they are coming but???) Having the same interface for the microwave and the oven is pointless. And causes problems as switching from the oven settings (when the oven is operating) back to the microwave is almost impossible (you have to press the screen many many times before it switches back). This could also be because it is not an actual "touch"-screen but rather has sensors (springs) behind the panel that tell the system where you pushed. This appears to be a well-made combination wall oven. We especially like the conventional oven racks and the stainless steel lining of the microwave oven. However, one aspect of the microwave design we do not care for: the edges of the door. The door edges appear "unfinished" in that they are simply metal with no edge.
