Pretty sturdy, instructions are easy to read.Exactly what it looks like in the picture, the drawers at the end are great for smaller things. Arrived super quick. Box was a little mangled but thankfully, the contents are well packed so no damage. It took two of us less than an hour to put it together and it looks nice. Admittedly, I was a little disappointed in the headboard and footboard (the inserts). Very deceiving description to call this bed ‘solid wood’ since 80 of the headboard and footboard are quite thin and flimsy (think thick cardboard). Only time will tell how they hold up.. We bought this bed for our guest room. I think the bed has a really pretty design and it’s sturdy. It took my husband some time to assemble it, but the process was easy and not aggravating at all. I like the height of the frame - holds the mattress up a good height from the floor. The only potential drawback I’ve noticed is there is a lip inside the foot of the bed that makes it a little hard to tuck the bedsheets in at the bottom if you like to do that when you make the bed..
