5 stars for the bed but unfortunately, the experience took much longer than it should have. Our first delivery arrived incomplete, with only two pieces of wood—more than half of the bed was missing. We had to return it, and a full replacement shipment was sent, which delayed everything, including our assembly (which, of course, we still had to pay for). The new shipment did arrive with all the parts, but we also noticed some chipping and damage on the side. At that point, we decided to keep it because we were tired of going back and forth. I was going through something and had to start my life over again and was sleeping on an air mattress for over 6 months. I ordered a mattress, bed frame and nightstands. I had previously ordered the mattress and slept on it for years so went for it again. It is so comfortable especially for people like me that likes a little firm but after time it will soften a little. I cannot feel any movement when my partner moves or gets out of bed. The frame and nightstands are sturdy and easy to put together. And the look is what I was looking for. I am finally sleeping like a baby again and with the whole purchase for a reasonable price. While I had high expectations from the bed, and the color is beautiful, the assembly was extremely difficult. There are multiple parts and instructions aren’t the best. It is unnecessarily complicated and it took us hours to fix the bed. We ended up getting scratches on the footboard but the replacement parts were taking too long to arrive. Eventually, we decided to call someone to help finish the bed which added extra cost. Definitely not worth the price, think before you buy. We are now stuck with the bed as disassembly would be a pain. Also, there is a warning for cancer with the materials. I returned a different bed on wayfair due to same warning and poor materials/ instructions. I wish this would be clear on wayfair website before we purchase these items.
