Love the look of the bookshelf. It looks very modern and has lots of space to hold books and trinkets. It was not hard to put together. Took about an hour. The only thing I didn’t like a lot was the color. It’s a lot darker wood than the photos. And very brown. All my other “walnut” pieces in the room are lighter with a more golden tone and this doesn’t match anything. I may do a glaze over it eventually. Wish I would have bought the lighter one. Oh well. I love these book cases. I live in an older house with kind of odd dimensions., and the dynamic design flows nicely and adds a modern appeal. These shelves is a great update to my space and really has brighten the whole room up and turned into a very nice display. They are manufactured wood, but a lot more sturdy feeling than some of the other manufactured products that l've purchased.., I am not very tall and they weren't too heavy for me to get around, but they feel solid, which is surprising for the design.
