This item does what I bought it for. Item heats up well and is able to boil water. I was able to cook pasta with no problems. Only thing I noticed is that if you set the temperature to high and then turn it down it seems the hot plate shuts off. I did not turn the knob far enough to shut off power. I only turned it to lower the temperature.

I love it!! This has been a real life saver for large get together stop have an extra burner. Heats fast!! I’m thinking of getting another one )I definitely recommend this!!
