I love the dishes. They are very elegant looking, and look just as pictured. However, after using them the first time we noticed that our wood table was all scratched up. We realized that the ridge on the bottom of all the dishes was very rough and unfinished. which caused the scratching. I really didn't want to pack them all up and return them since these were the dishes I wanted. After doing some research I learned that I could sand and shellac all the ridges to make the bottom smooth, so that's what I did. It took quite a while to get this done. I did not contact customer service because I had made up my mind to keep and fix them. Lucky for me I have plenty of time on my hands because I'm isolated due to the pandemic! However, I can't recommend them.

I love my new dishes and flatware. I think the pairing is beautiful. The dishes look handmade as does the flatware.

The whole set is beautiful! Stoneware does not seem to scratch in middle of plate like other sets I have had. Neutral in color, goes with everything.

All of the dishes are much larger than I expected. I like them very much none the less.

It was delivered quickly and this time, there were not broken plates or cups. A good value for good quality stoneware dishes.
