Exactly what I was looking for.

Definitely needed. A knockbox (informally known as a "bash bin", "coffee column", "slam piece" or "bang bang") is a device used to store spent espresso grounds, called a puck, after a shot of espresso has been pulled. The sturdy bar known as a "bash bar", against which a portafilter is tapped to release the puck. Because the espresso puck is typically very hot after extraction, knockboxes need to be sturdy.

I'm happy with Delonghi Knock box for its quality and how sturdy it is.

We will use it for espresso tool storage. Not for espresso used grounds.

This is a must have for espresso machine!

This is a must have espresso machine accessory! It is nice and compact. Best of all no more drips to the trash bin to pound out the pucks. I wish I had gotten this sooner.

The knock box was he perfect size - enough to hold about a week of grinds for a couple, but doesn’t take up too much counter space. Solid, quality materials and a rubberized bottom for quiet and stability!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee knock box is pretty stylish! The stainless steel keeps it looking great! The rubber bar in the center of it is nice because it will keep the portafilter in good condition. The other thing that I really like is that the bottom of it has a foam pad, which will keep my wood counter from getting marks on them. This is an essential product for anyone who has an espresso machine!
