Beautiful, easy to clean, well made

I’m so happy to finally have a saucier in my collection now and could not be happier than with it being a Demeyere Atlantis

Beautiful pot. Heats evenly and cleans easily. Like others, the lid is a bit of a disappointment, but not enough to warrant a lower rating. My assumption is that the people at Demeyere know what they're doing, and that a saucier lid should not be tight fitting. I purposely ordered the larger version so I could use it for more than sauces and custards, but now intend to purchase the smaller saucier (when my budget allows), as this one is a tad unwieldy for smaller quantities.

I am learning as I go. Buying pans and realized this was the better of the Demeyere line, depending on whom you spoke to. I am pleased about that because I am buying very slowly, on sale and do not mind mixing brands. I could not seem to find a set I liked with the quality and what I wanted in it. I did not want to compromise myself. I have done enough of that in my life. Pans are for making amazing food for people to enjoy. I don't want to buy just "okay" pans at this age. I'm living now for the first time in many years and it feels great. I might buy all Atlantis. Looking at a 5.5 quart right now. Have many pans that are not Demeyere. But for stock pans I might do Demeyere?

Super heavy duty Sauce Pan! Works great with my induction cooktop! Very easy to clean for stainless steel.
