Toilet paper does not lay on top of whale as pictured; toilet paper lays low and covers most of the whale. When you sit the whale on the back of the toilet with the rolls of paper, you can not tell that it is a whale. Since I have a fish theme in my bathroom, it was disappointing. The rod needs some kind of plug on the bottom to keep the rolls up so you can see the whale. The color and texture of the whale is very nice; also, the whale is very solid and heavy.

I have bought so many things from this company and have never been disappointed with any of their products. I bought this for a Christmas Gift. It is a durable, heavy piece and well built! I like it so much I am planning on buying one for me. You will not regret it!
