Beautiful, but it dribbles water quite a bit. Teapots should pour a nice stream but this one ends up getting water on the counter every time.

This kettle is beautiful. It’s heavy and good quality.

Well made and very stylish looking. Made my first cup of tea last night and water up to boiling fairly fast.

What I appreciate about this teapot is that it holds the heat for a while and whistles quickly once it comes to a boil. The con is that I’m older person, and the top is somewhat snug and takes a bit of effort to remove it in order to refill with water. The other disappointing fact is that if you fill the tea kettle more than 34 full and begin to pour into your mug or teacup, the water spurts out . I have scolded my skin on more than one occasion. No matter how slow I pour this has happened consistently. It happens less if you have very little water in the teapot or it’s less than half full.  All in all, I’m still happy with the product and the quality of the workmanship. I have several Le Creuset products.  I also love the color as it matches the decor in the kitchen 

Just as pictured! Got the Caribbean 1.7 quart kettle and it’s the perfect size - not too big and not too small. Handle easily lowers to fill - pour spout opens well to pour for tea.
