I've use this pan fir every you can imagine. Stands up to everything keep it seasoned and it will be your go to for searing a steak, grilling some veggies or making an upside down grilled onion corn bread. Get this and get creative it is awesome.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love the cast-iron pan. It is large, which is great for dinner meals. My husband seasoned the frying pan when we received it. Last night, I made lamb chops in it, and I was able to cook all of them in the pan because of the size. I love making meals that are required to go in the oven with the pan, as well. I will be using this pan a lot. It's very good quality, but the best part is the size. I plan to use the pan in the summer, with my Napoleon barbeque.

Cooking with cast iron on the BBQ has been a new experience so it took a couple tries to get the recipe I wanted to try right and to remember to use good gloves to handle the iron pan after use. The smores dip we made was amazing and it was easy to transfer from the BBQ to the oven to broil the top to a golden brown.

This is my first time using cast iron and both attempts were a success. The first dish I made was a pan fried salmon finished in the oven. The nonstick surface worked. The skin crisped up very quickly and I was able to move it around the pan with no issue. My next attempt was on the bbq. I was able to pan-fry my potatoes and onions at a high 700 degree heat. No messy potatoes..again they quickly formed a crust and the non-stick surface made the experience a breeze. My biggest worry with trying cast-iron was cleaning it. I did not think it would be an easy task and I was concerned about rust. With the pan still a bit warm after cooking, I added a touch of dish soap and water quickly washed it with a brush. I added a light layer of oil and warmed it in the oven for a few minutes, and it literally looked like I pulled it out of the box both times I washed it. I can't wait to try making a frittata next! Very satisfied!

From the very first use, it impressed me with its even heat distribution and naturally non-stick surface. I made eggs that slid right out of the pan without a fight — no scraping or broken yolks here! I also sautéed some veggies, and they came out perfectly tender with a slight char that you just can’t get with other pans. The pan feels sturdy and well-built, and I love that it only gets better with use. Cleanup was a breeze — a quick wipe, a light oiling, and it’s ready for the next meal. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This pan is great for everything from chicken to eggs haha. It heats up faster than my other cast iron cookware which was a nice surprise. And despite it heating up quickly, there is no sacrifice on quality. The pan is quite heavy and substantial, and heats nice and evenly. My old stainless pan I used to use for making scrambled eggs doesn't hold a candle to this. No hot spots or cold spots while cooking, it was quite refreshing to use. As a "cast iron" pan it is true to its name and can be quite heavy, especially containing fully prepared meats. Be aware of this - Not for the weak! Otherwise, it performed well and allows you to contain a full meal on the grill. My favorite part was the added flavour and taste it affords along with the amazing sear capability.

After seasoning it with olive oil I have had the opportunity to make a few dishes using this cast iron pan on my grill,stovetop and oven. My favorite has been using it to make pull apart cinnamon rolls in my oven they came out great without sticking to the pan. I did find this to be a heavier cast iron pan then others I used so just made sure to be careful using it on my cooktop
