Ice Cream And Gelato Maker Machine

Very solid choice for homemade ice cream machine that is really close to perfect. Couple shortcomings, the recipes in the back of the book are workable but not great. Without a good basic recipe, your left to experiment. The biggest flaw I had encountered was the 2 metal pins on the lid that makes contact with the ice cream machine. I did have the paddle stop prior to completion of a cycle, either to vibrations or human error. Unsure about the durability of 2 metal pins and the motor on the lid. The ice cream machine was quiet and seemed to have no problem churning the ice cream. The ice cream beater/mixer is of heavy plastic, and I have no fears of it breaking or warping. It does come out closer to a firmer soft serve rather that a solid pint of ice cream from that other brand with the 2 guys. I think it is a great size, enough for 2 people if wanted. Just 60 minuets you can be having an ice-cold desert that is a lot better than a lot you buy at the store. The possibilities are endless with flavors, add ins, etc.

My family and I love our new ice cream maker! Our first recipe was an Oreo ice cream, and it came out delicious! The directions are somewhat easy to follow at first, but once you figure it all out, setup will be fast in the future. Step one in the manual only requires water if you are making one of the recipes in the guide, which we didn’t. The ice cream maker was quiet, and the parts were easy to clean! It was packaged very well and shipping was fast. I highly recommend it!

Quick and easy to use. So much easier to use than the ones that require ice and rock salt. Compressor is a little noisy but it’s great that the container doesn’t require pre-freeezing. Just wish it had another container to be able to make larger batches.

Overall the shipping was fast and the packaging was great, well protected. This machine is pretty big, so dont be fooled by the photos. Little clunkly for my liking, and its pretty heavy for an appliance, probably because you don’t have to pre-freeze to make a batch of icecream. It has its own compressor that will make the icecream bucket pit nice n frosty! Took about an hour to make gelato as instructed but still had to freeze to get the best result. Overall great purchase, but wish it was a lot smaller!

The ice cream maker arrived on time and works great. My only complaint is that it stated it came with a recipe book, but there are a minimal amount of recipes that came in the manual. They were for basic chocolate, vanilla, etc. I would have liked a more extensive recipe book.
