I have other starfrit rock pans and the performance of the pans have always been good. When it wore out (after 7 years) I bought this one as a replacement. Unfortunately the first time I used it, I burned my hand on the very hot handle. My other pans had stay cool handles. This does not. I would not have bought this if I had known. Wish that was in the description.

I bought this pan 3 weeks ago after falling in love with my 11" Starfrit pan. This pan is perfect for flipping eggs without a spatula! They slide in the pan with just a little oil or butter. It is the best. Don't hesitate to buy it. If you follow the directions, the pan will be long lasting and completely non-stick. It is worth every penny. Highly recommended!
