Viking 3-Ply Hybrid Plus Nonstick Fry Pan

I bought this pan a few weeks ago and it has a major drawback, the handle is too heavy for the pan and therefore doesn't sit level on the burner. I have a Bosch range with heavy cast iron grates and you can't get the pan to sit level.

Wanted to love this pan..it looks great, light, great handle, goes in the dishwasher. Sadly, it is only for eggs. I could not get a Maillard Reaction for meat, resulting in flavourless, palid looking food. I think it would be ok for eggs, and it is seriously non-stick (even with sugary sauces that are heavily reduced)..but not for meat.

I purchased a 12 inch frying pan 1 day ago and used it to fry an egg to test the non stick affect. It was non stick however, on the gas burner the lip on top of the frying pan burned and left black scorched marks on the surface of the pan. I tried to clean it off and the carbon seemed to have melded on to it. This was a very bad purchase. I soaked it overnight to no avail. My mom tried to use it to fry some eggs and hasbrowns and the scorching continued and it is a terrible sight. I own All Clad pans and they will get oil markings but clean right off. I own Caraway and they get carbon burns on the outside but I’ve never seen it like this on the inside. It’s unfortunate because I really though this would be the beginning of a collection and wanted to like them as I love the Viking appliances. I’d love to upload photos but it would not allow me to.

Good quality pans. However they are NOT nonstick. Fried a couple eggs almost threw them out.

I LOVE this pan! Disregard the haters, they don't know how to use these pans. Heat them up first, just like stainless and they work unbelievable. Favorite pan out of allu high end cookware. Any cleaning issue use BarKeepers friend and it will look like brand new

I bought 2 of the 12" fry pans for use on my induction range. They were OK for a couple of months, then the non-stick coating began to fail. If you look carefully at the warranty, it does not cover this type of failure (which is the most likely type of failure for this product). In short, these expensive pans are useless now, so I would recommend not purchasing anything from this company, as their warranty is effectively useless.

I bought the 8" fry pan a few weeks ago, FANTASTIC! I have spent more money on nonstick frypan than I can count. I have a husband and a 21yr. old grandson that ruin every nonstick pan using metal utensils and scratching the surface. We are three weeks in and my Viking fry pan not a single slice or nick. I am sold 100% best nonstick pan ever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was trying to stay away from non-stick. I decided to try this pan after careful consideration as I wanted to make sure it was safe for my family. I am so glad that I did. This pan cooks evening and is the perfect size for my family of four. This is the easiest pan to clean too! I would give it a try if you want simple and easy in your kitchen. I mean... how has the time to cook anymore? So let's keep it simple.

Meats stick to pan. Not a nonstick. Not worth the money.

First, it’s cool. Normally I don’t care about that kind of thing and just care about performance, but it is cool. I have gone pretty hard on this pan and it has held up and given consistent good performance. The heat distribution makes lower medium heat all you need to get results you would normally need higher heat for. I like the low maintenance clean up.
