I have been wanting a good set of knives for a while and when I came across these, I knew I had found what I was looking for. The price was more than fair and am very pleased. Sturdy and very sharp for use on a fine steak. Having a nice wooden display box for storage is a plus. I foresee enjoying using these for years to come. I recently did a big kitchen cabinet clean out and discarded every single mismatched piece of Cutlery I owned ...which left me with a few very nice pieces ,but not a full set of steak knives ...this Viking steak knife set is more than I could have hoped for !! I purchased this set during one of Wayfairs many sales and paid a fraction of the price for this beautiful set!! I rely heavily on reviews and this particular set recieved many 5 stars ,,as well as photos attached ...which I also appreciate !! This Viking set was just too good to pass up and Im so happy that I didnt !! When they arrived they were in pristine condition ..they were well packaged.. there was no movement during the shipping process at all... they were perfect !! The first thing that you see is this gorgeous wooden box ...the weight of the entire set is substantial.. even without seeing them I knew I had made the right decision ...opening the box was wonderful they are actually larger than I anticipated!! The photos in the sale listing do not do these knives Justice ...these are big beautiful steak knives .the handles are solid ,the cutting surface is extraordinary ,the weight that these knives have surpasses anything Ive ever owned.. when you hold this Viking steak knife in your hand you know that youre holding a knife!! .. unlike most of the wannabe knock-offs ! This piece of cutlery is well made!! Once again Wayfair has delivered an exceptional product for pennies on the dollar and free shipping on top of it all!! ... why anyone would shop anywhere else but here on Wayfair I just do not know... if youre looking for a dependable quality set of steak knives , this Viking set is for you! Love my knife set. It gets used at least two or three times a month. It's easy to store, easy to use, and the cost was lower than I expected to pay for the quality received. As always, the shipping was fast and everything was perfect.
