bought this knife on a whim. Caught my eye and the price seemed fair. I've posted a pic of this knife along side my former go to Henckel knife that I have been using for more than 15 years. I've cut carrots, cucumbers and tomatoes all with ease and that was done after I used it to cut near frozen meat. I used the knife this morning to cut meat for jerky. When we cut the meat we have to cut it partially thawed so we can get a thin slice. She loved the knife for this task. There really is nothing bad to say about this knife. It seems to be built extremely well. The shape will take a little getting used to as you can see it is quite different than the knife I normally use but I am sure it will continue to love it. I am sure this knife will be in our family for many many years.

This is a gift purchased for my son in-law he has opened it early and absolutely love the professional knives.

Great knife set. Esthetically pleasing and have a great handle feel and weight.
