This toaster oven has been exceptional! We retired from a long used Breville and I loved the overall appearance of this one first and then secondly the size and available cook settings. It has cooked evenly and toasted to perfection. We have no complaints and just like zojirushi rice cookers, the reliability has been there and it keeps running without issue!

I researched toaster oven a lot before purchasing. I had a Zojirushi induction rice cooker for 15 years before I gifted it to a friend and bought a new one (the pan had lost some non-stick coating because I didn't know about thermal shock, so it didn't keep the temp as well, which caused the rice to go bad after a few days when normally it could keep for a week). I'd have kept the cooker but it was no longer made and couldn't find a good replacement bowl. I now have the latest version of the same cooker, will protect the bowl from thermal shock AND purchase an extra just in case. I have had the new one for maybe a year or two. May it be the last rice cooker I ever buy! The Zojirushi bread maker I have had for at least 7 years and am just as happy with it. My existing toaster oven was a Breville Mini Smart Oven. It was pretty good, but the display buttons are wearing out after about 7 years, I believe due to heat impacting the electronics over time. The temp/darkness and time/slices buttons would often toggle instead Fahrenheit/Celsius or Frozen on/off settings, and the up button would often lower not raise the temp or time as applicable, and vice-versa. Also the start button wouldn't trigger when pressed. These required tapping the affected button several times to get it to function properly. I am willing to spend on an appliance I can trust (like my Vitamix blender and food processor!). This Zojirushi toaster oven feels very solid. It made a gorgeous bread pudding the first time I ever used it, and I appreciate the thought they put into the shape of the trays to ensure even cooking. The middle of the trays isn't raised up THAT much and it makes sense, allowing heat to collect instead of rolling up the sides of the oven. Though I prefer stainless trays over aluminum for health reasons, and read that the oven takes standard 1/4 sheet trays, so I may replace the trays. We will see. I do like the simple interface, didn't even need to read the manual to use the oven. No no clock is great too, already have too many to adjust for time changes. And, I don't get the complaint about the preheat function. Works just great, beeps several times when it is pre-heated, display says I need to hit "Start" to actually bake, and the oven beeps a few more times at regular intervals to remind me if I haven't hit Start yet. And indeed it is a beautiful appliance. I keep most appliances in cabinets to cut clutter but this one is bit big to move around and it looks great, so I like keeping it out. When designing my next kitchen I will have no use for a regular size oven. This is a perfect replacement. One more thing.. someone mentioned they were happy the Zojirushi didn't heat up their house as it is insulated. That's HUGE for me as outdoors can reach 100 + humidity, so the AC is already pumping 24/7. So far this oven does not produce the kind of heat I encounter with the Breville, which in summertime I avoided entirely or used outside on the patio.

Zojirushi is the gold standard for small appliances. This is a great alternative to using my oven and it's very sleek on the counter.

Sleek, stylish and function. Perfect buy

This is a great toaster oven. Easy to use. Doesn't take up too much counter space. East to clean. No more heating up the whole kitchen, just to make garlic bread!

Underwelming and basic. Compred to other purchases from the same brand, this one is not up-to-par.

The toaster oven itself is very nice. I've made homemade breads, cookies, cakes, frozen pizzas and toasts and they came out great. Since I used to use Panasonic FlashXpress, this toaster oven takes longer time to preheat but I really like the roomy interior. I gave only 4 stars because it came with the useless baking tray. I cantacted their customer service and they describe it as "sligtly domed" but to me "it is so warped and the tray is useless for any purpose".

The Micom toaster oven has made mornings a joy! Now I can start my day with beautiful golden, light brown toasts that boast an amazing light, crispy texture. The interior is surprisingly spacious, even fitting a 12-inch round pizza with ease!
