ZWILLING Edge Maintenance Diamond Sharpening Steel

Ordered this Diamond Steel for my nephew (chef) for Christmas. He sharpens my knives and said he needed a new Diamond Steel. I chose this one because he complimented my Zwilling JA Henckel Knives.

Best honing tool I've ever used to keep knives sharpened. I work in retail cutting meats and vegetables and this hone works on all knives we use.

Great piece of kitchen equipment!

Just received the honing rod. I purchased for some high carbon steel knives where the recommendation for edge maintenance needed to ceramic or Diamond. I haven't used it yet as the knives are very sharp and not in need of honing as of yet. Product is as described and was shipped quickly. I can't speak for performance thought it this honing rod is from a well known, high quality knife manufacturer so I have high expectations on performance. I gave 4 stars without using it or knowing about durability/longevity.

Looking for a great sharpening steel? This is it! The design of this style, is much more efficient than a round one. I highly recommend it.

Postage could be cheaper if all items were shipped together. Shipping each knife in a separate box seems unreasonable. This product did not meet my standards and my husband is not happy with it

I love my Henkels knives, so purchasing this particular product was a logical choice when my husband mentioned wanting to replace our sharpening steel with a diamond one. It even fits into my knife block. I did compare it to other diamond sharpening tools before making a selection. It would be possible to spend a lot more on more elaborate devices, but the simplicity and compact qualities of the one I bought were much to be preferred. I can't say much more about it since it is wrapped and under the Christmas tree right now. I expect my husband to be fully satisfied with it, if not thrilled!

Arrived quickly and fits well in knife block. I have yet to use it but look forward to sharpening my knives.
