ZWILLING Madura Plus Forged Nonstick 2-Piece Fry Pan Set

This seems like a great non stick pan- until you crack an egg on the side. The coating chips off immediatly so after one week I had a bunch of scratches. I watched and realized it was where I crack my egg. The coating shouldn't go on the top of the pan, only the inside. I think most people use these for eggs.

This is a lovely piece to cook with and clean up following. After being very careful cooking and handwashing, I made the mistake of using a wood spoon, which marked the coating. This was my mistake, but be very careful with the pan. I am purchasing a new one.

Top tier quality. We use this at least 5 days a week and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone.

Pricey but worth it as an exclusive egg pan. I’m very careful with it and only use silicone cookware with it. Fabulous, creamy eggs and omelettes. Don’t clean it until it’s completely cooled, then be gentle.

Received my order today from Fed Ex. The box this pan came in had very little packing in it to protect this pan. Do not know if this was done at the factory or by Fed Ex because the box was in very bad shape. The handle was sticking out one side of the box by about 4 to 5 inches and loose. I tried to tighten this handle and it will not tighten up any more. I can work with this handle but I am afraid this handle will only get worst in time. Was this damage done by the factory and their packing or by Fed Ex?

This pan is amazing! Absolutely the best for making eggs and pancakes. Foods slides off easily with minimal oil. Easy cleaning too!

Lasted exactly one year before the super-duper coating started to peel off. This was recommended from NYTimes, but definitely has room for quality improvement. Used it under medium/low heat and with plastic or wooden utensils. Also, although it is aluminum it is pretty heavy. Feels solid and well built, but started peeling. Now I see that Zwilling's website has multiple complaints about the coating. NYTimes and I should have known better.
