They are more sturdy than I expected. I am using them inside for my dry bar, but I'm sure they would do fine outside. There are complaints from others about the remote but I don't have any. A set comes with 2 controllers but you can control both with 1 if you want.

Love the white light for everyday, but love the color option, so fun.

My advice to whomever purchases these lights is not to use the remote to change the color from solid white. I used the remote on one light to change the color and got psychedelic colors of blue, red, yellow, and green all at once. It was horrible! I tried in vain to change it back to solid white but cannot. Thank goodness I didn't attempt the music on the remote. Needless to say, the remote did not operate properly.

I purchased 14 of these lights for external lighting effects on my commercial building. They are very attractive and were easy to install. They are a bit tricky in terms of maintaining the desired lighting effect that I want and have a tendency to defer to the "disco" appearance with multicolors when turned on/off. I wanted a steady warm white light but I am having to constantly reset them which is quite a chore when you have 14 remote controls. They do look good once set to the desired mode. Thank you. Allen
