Nice item. The vanity light curves outwards instead of upwards like it shows in the photo. I wanted an upward arching vanity light and this isn't it.

My daughter now wants them in her bathroom. The bar on the lights has a unique curved design. My bathroom looks so sophisticated now. The matte black finish with cylindrical frosted white glass and rectangular backplate compliments the decor already in my bathroom. I also love that I had the choice of the lights facing up or down. I choose up, I feel it’s more modern. The lights are dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer switch (not included.) This is important to me as I like to adjust the lights depending on my mood. It uses 60 watt bulbs of your choice. Last, Design House has been around 150+ years! They are a solid company that you can trust! They always stand behind their products as they are built to last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed the Desta Vanity Bar in Matte Black with Frosted Glass last night and it looks beautiful and modern. It came very well packaged to protect the frosted glass globes. The fixture itself was easy to install. You can install it with the globes facing up or down. Be aware if you have large hands, it might be difficult to get the part that secures the globes to the fixture and the light bulbs in. That's where I got involved to help my husband out. I have to point out how well the product was made. It is sturdy and strong. There weren't any plastic or flimsy parts on this at all. I would absolutely purchase this brand again due to the outstanding quality, price, and appearance.

I haven't been installing lights for long and this lights is simple enough that a beginner can do it. The 3 lights light the room up to the perfect brightness. I installed this in my bathroom above the mirror and it's perfect.
