Ok so upon ordering I really liked these. They look good, not super fancy, but for the price that’s understandable. I’ve had them hanging outside in the elements, since they were advertised to be outdoor, and while they are all still functioning well I’ve noticed all of the hardware is already rusting. I’m already thinking forward to when I’m probably going to have to eventually replace these with a higher end type of lantern that doesn’t have cheap hardware attached.

The lanterns are very attractive and when running have a very realistic flame or the choice of just white light. I bought them to help mark our driveway at night so we can guidelines to follow when backing down. I was expecting them to glow all night but the longest they have stayed on is a couple hours. Thus they fail to function as we need them to. Granted it has been overcast alot but we had several days when bright sun hit the solar panels yet they didn't charge the battery enough to turn off at sunrise. The instructions are very minimal. I looked for a company customer service phone number, but there was none listed. I wanted to get help to see if it was a customer use error or functionality error. I have been trying to give them a chance. My neighbor has a different lantern that seem to do the sundown to sunrise function as I had expected. I want them to work and have given them a good chance to perform. Looks like a return is in the near future.
