I believed that I had ordered the brushed nickel, as indicated in the image provided when placing my order. However, it appears to have been a miscalculation on either my or Wayfair's part. The black iron is significantly superior for my sons' room, being sturdy and powerful for a small light fixture.

Good quality light. It was a bit smaller than we thought but our office ceiling is a bit higher. It is great quality, easy to install & with brighter bulbs the size was not an issue.
