Didn't like that this had to be purchased for the fan to be used.

Color not as advertised. Said white and I received a yellow-ish color (not even ivory)

Just what we needed for our Kichler fans

So glad we noticed this and did add. Fan will be used seldom, but we are adding a light kit, which will be turned on every time we enter room. So, great to have adjustable switch for either right at hand. It is a west facing room, so on those rare sunny days in Seattle, it will be simple to turn on and adjust fan right at door also. Pros: Convenient and reasonable cost. Cons: None.

I love that the switch provides both light and fan spend that you can adjust to your liking.
