Love the weighted marble base; makes it very sturdy. In fact, the whole design is awesome - very modern plus excellent quality.

This lamp is really cute and was easy to assemble! The base does appear to have a crack with some discoloration, though. I have the lamp behind a big lounge chair so you can’t see the defect, but it’s still annoying to receive a damaged item.

I was unfortunately a bit underwhelmed with this lamp. It just doesn't have the same quality feel in person that is evoked in the photos and there is one major discrepancy within the product description that I feel needs to be highlighted. They claim that this lamp is 'dimmable', but when I contacted the manufacturer to tell them the lamp did not have a dimming feature anywhere, they explained that we needed to use a 3 way bulb in order for it to have that feature. This was pretty disappointing as that just isn't the functionality I had anticipated and expected based on the description. I also feel like the glow of the lamp is not as warm as it appeared in the photo on the product page when turned on as the lampshade isn't the same shade as it is in the photos and impacts the warmth of the light that it emits. The lampshade was easy enough to put together (it comes unassembled), but there are some imperfections in the shade as well that are just highlighted further once the lamp is illuminated. I'm on the fence as to whether I'll be keeping this lamp.

Put the lamp together and thought it was too short. In the middle of processing the return I realized the height was adjustable! The top has a knob that allows you to extend the height another foot. Great lamp fits my basement perfectly.
