Update: I hadn’t even tried contacting Wayfair about returning this lamp and they emailed me asking how the item could be repaired/replaced. Two days later, a brand new lamp appeared on my doorstep, and has no defects. Awesome customer service!! Didn’t even have to send defective one back. Was taking this nice-looking lamp out of the box and this knob which adjusts the height of the lamp broke. It appears to be metal on the outside but is actually plastic. I barely touched it. Love them!! Assembly was a little difficult. The instructions were vague. Hubby and I figured it out… the second lamp was easy peasy. I am amazed at the light this lamp throws! A pleasant surprise, the inside of the shade is lined in white fabric that reflects light. The outside beige fabric makes it look classic vintage.
