I am super excited to try out this pump. It seems to be made really well. I like how it comes with a cage to put on the end of it to keep from sucking up debris. It also came with different hose size adapters.

Wow! This pump is top of the line. You can tell is great quality from the box, to the instructions, to the pump itself! Let me start by thanking Alpine Company for making the instructions with big letters and colored pictures! This made it very easy to understand. Bravo! Second, the pump works in or out of the water, it has some power to it! I purchased this pump for a backyard pond, but due to weather conditions we have not been able to complete this project. HOWEVER, my husband and I tested the pump as we wanted to have everything in hand and ready to go, for when the weather gets nice again.

I live in upstate New York and for the foreseeable future, my pond will be frozen solid. I have however, taken it out of the box and read through the instruction manual and am looking forward to spring!! I love the fact that it has a control panel that is easily accessible. Checked it out on Google and it sounds great.

We selected this pump to use in our backyard waterfall retreat we will be building in the spring. The last photo is our plan. My husband tested the pump at our friends pond and it worked great! Most pumps don’t have controls but this one has an adjustable speed which allows you to control water flow. I’m so excited for spring to get our backyard oasis built!

The cord is long and the unit seems s durable. I have faith this will keep my pond crystal clear for many seasons. I also have a couple of fountains that this could work for as well. Very pleased

It saves electricity which means you will save money all year it works for very large ponds as well as waterfalls it has a vortex impeller and a really huge filter which will come in handy for this and it's for in or out of the water which is the neatest feature it has!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Free to Review Alpine Corp Eco-Twist Pump with Controller panel, 5300Gallons Per Hour with 33' Cord electrical, Is a Very nice quiet reasonable Sized ( 1'x 6"x 8) pump great for circulation in your pond or moving 5000 gallons of water over a shortish distance constantly. Not all season but then a 5000 gallon pond freezes unless well south right? Highly recommend this pump for general healthy water maintenance of any water source you have.

I have went through 3 pumps in less than 2 years, but this one is working like a champ. I have a pond with a small waterfall in my front yard and finding a quality pump that doesn't cost a fortune has been impossible until now. I've had no issues with it at all and the fact that it has a 33' cord on it really helps. It was really easy to install, I didn't even need to ask my husband to help me. I definitely recommend this pump, I personally will never use any other brand.

We were looking for a water pump that could increase the waterfall flow and be less expensive to operate. In the past we have installed submersible pumps and found that they were a big problem to service. This Alpine Corporation Eco pump can be installed above ground as well and makes servicing much easier. The longer cord and energy efficiency, the remote controller are big plusses as well as the volume of water this pump can produce. I would definitely recommend this product.
