I would say nearly useless as described. You should shave at least a foot maybe a foot and a half over lengths that can be used on this. While a 10' hammock does fit on this thing it literally lays on the ground. I could not in any good conscience say that a ten-foot hammock fits this rack.

I absolutely lovey hammock stand! I have no trees in my backyard so this is a savior because a hammock is definitely the best way to relax!

This stand is too short for a standard size/length hammock. As you can see in the photos, it's too close to the ground to be useful. Not even a child could get in without ending up with their bottom on the ground. Hammock length specifications should be standard in all listings. Obviously I'm returning the stand.
