Strong robust hinges with self closing adjustment. Setting can be changed if self closing feature is not required. Small stops allow for easy positioning on post. Comes in a set of 2 with screws and allen key for tension adjustment. Note left side hinges are fitted with adjustment screw up and right side hinges are fitted with adjustment screw facing down.

Excellent exterior closer hinges! Easy to install with very clear instructions. Functions as described. If you are putting it on a large, heavy iron gate use the biggest Butterfly hinge.

Exactly what I was looking for! Confession time… I have become lazy and not shouting or latching the back yard gate. When my hands are full or I am in a hurry I throw the gate and never look back. Therefore, it’s been open numerous times and I wanted to add a self closing mechanism that was smaller and looks better than most available. This hinge is thick (strong) metal with a quality finish. I added it to my gate that is already hinged so it will self close. This works great! You can adjust the tension of the henge for a soft or strong close. Easy to install and included all needed parts. Note I didn’t use all 6 screws per hinge and it works fine for my application.

Got these for our outside gate, very nice. Love that it creates a self close. My husband was able to install.
