10 Lb. Plastic Free Standing Umbrella Base

This base fit my umbrella perfectly. I filled it with water for weight. It prevented my cantilevered umbrella from tipping over in normal weather with winds while open. I wouldnt leave the umbrella open when not being used for fear of strong weather changes that produce winds over 15 mph. With that said, the stand prevented the umbrella from tipping in 30 mph winds generated by thunderstorms that occurred here in the midwest while it was closed. I do not recommend leaving the water in the base during freezing weather. I would be afraid of the plastic splitting if the water froze. We empty them. If you want to use year round, then sand would be the other option to use.

Great accessory for the umbrella and easy to set up

A little ugly but they do the job. I have a set on two different cantilevered umbrellas and only one has fallen over once in a major wind storm. Ugly but very effective

These don’t work very well because they slide out of the metal base they are supposed to hold down. If I could clip or screw them on to the base they would be fine. Otherwise I like how easy it is to fill and empty them of water. And the handles are a nice touch.

Base worked great for umbrella

I ordered these to go with the umbrella I also ordered from Wayfair. Exactly as described and easy to setup.

These were the perfect solution to my problem of having a heavy enough base for my cantilevered umbrella. I was using sand bags which are heavy and difficult to move when I wanted to put the umbrella away for the winter. These just drain the water out, and they are light, easy to carry, and you can store them in a storage box on your deck. I’ve only use them one summer but so far I’m very pleased.

I blame this for bettering my families life, no more strife.
