It was difficult to find shutters that were modern and I was please to have found these. I ordered five sets (66"h) unfinished so that I could custom match the stain to my building. The wood is very "rustic" so if you want smooth edges, you will need to sand. The face wood was smooth enough, but occasional planks needed sanding. One shutter out of ten was misaligned, but Wayfair offered a free replacement. The shutters were shipped via Fedex and took just a few days to arrive to CA.

These are so poorly constructed - of the 3 pairs ordered, only 1 could have been hung. They were on a slant, large gaps, it was bad. DO NOT ORDER THESE!

The shutters are poorly made. The slats have large chips, gouges, and splinters that are visible from 15 feet away. Three of four packages did not have screws for installation. They are not worth the cost. See photos.
