8 Ft. W X 5 Ft. D Aluminum Pergola With Canopy

This small Pergola is exactly what I was looking for to keep me dry while grilling. The instructions were easy to follow and the finished product is solid IF fastened to an object like a house. However, it would not be good as a freestanding structure, even if each post was securely fastened down. There are a number of reasons for this but the two piece support posts and panel brackets that attach the front and back sections do not provide a rigid enough structure. That said, I drilled the top of each rear post and used 5/16 x 3.5" GRK fasteners into the side of the house (see photo) as the "L" brackets it comes with were not long enough compensate for the siding. Now it is solid and does not budge.

Love this! Easy instruction to follow but it takes two people and sometimes three to hold it due to its size. Very sturdy but needs anchored.

Love these, look great in my backyard! Very sturdy, but must be affixed to a wall or side of house. We have attached them to the fence.

Much sturdier that I thought it would be. Very pleased with the item I ordered another for a second entryway.

I do not have the roof on this pergola yet, as the wind keeps picking up. This product was easy to put together. My husband put it together in about 4 hours, starting to finish. Well the finishing part will be the top cover put on when we no longer have so much wind. Im super excited to be able to cook in the rain and not get soaked) definitely happy with my purchase
