Best "gift" I have given myself. No more hacking and dumping ice out of water troughs for my sheep and they are drinking more on the cold days--bonus.

I'm ready for sub freezing weather for my chickens' water. Now if it would only got below freezing, lol.

We bought two of these online a few weeks ago. Our current tank heaters weren’t getting the job done. We’re just south of Chicago and the temps have been in the single digits and below zero at night for weeks. When these arrived, I read the directions, and simply dropped them in the tanks (100 gal and 150 gal). Plugged them in (used them as *floaters*). WOW! What a difference! Not only do they keep both tanks ice FREE, they even melted the ice that had accumulated with the old heaters. So impressed! Thank you for a great product!

I am in love with this deicer! We have it floating at the moment, but you can sink or swim it (teehee)! Our last warmer was not like this and it electrocuted a barn cat. It was a sad day when I ordered this one, but I was extremely relieved when this arrived! It’s perfect! Besides the fact that it comes with options, my goats don’t try and eat it and my barn cats now have their own bowl! Yes from this amazing company! I can’t thank you enough!

We bought this product in the summer to use in chicken water this winter,here in the Missouri. We have had it in the tank 1 month on the worst part of the yr 2-19-25 when the snow and cold weather hits it stops working. We might got a lemon but that was a waste of money.

Part of the cage around the heating element has melted , though it has been submerged in water. This has caused our GFI to trip and our barrel chicken waterer is without a heating element during the coldest part of the year. Worked fine last year, was cleaned and stored in a dry place over the warmer seasons. Not happy with this.
